That’s because Red Run Snow Pants are built with both durability and versatility in mind, starting with a Hyperbola nylon shell that withstands scrapes from brush on your way down the hill. They’re also highly waterproof, with sealed seams and a shell backed by a 10K waterproof/10K breathable barrier. But the versatility starts with ideal warmth, with 80g Thermore insulation quilted in that keeps you from icing up in the cold and from overheating when you’re setting fresh tracks in the snow. The suspenders flex for comfort and are adjustable and removable – put them on for downhill runs, unclip them for a winter hike. Reinforced against abrasion at the ankle, with built-in gaiters to shut out snow. Sized for base layers, with an elastic waist and adjustable belt so you have room to customize your layers to the weather report. Get a pair and cut loose any way you want in the snow.
